About Me

Cecilia Columbus is a Freedom Empowerment Coach, Educational Consultant, special education teacher, author, speaker, and educator advocate who helps women and educators overcome self-doubt, emotional burnout, and personal hardship so they can rise boldly into healing, purpose, and transformation.

With over two decades in education, Cecilia has served in roles ranging from early childhood educator and administrator to certified special education teacher. Throughout her career, she’s shown up in classrooms while silently battling chronic illness, grief, spiritual adversity, and burnout. Her journey is one of resilience, faith, and restoration—and she uses her voice to remind others: your story still matters.

She is the founder of CM Columbus Enterprise, which houses her empowering brands:

• Freedom Encourages – a movement that equips women and educators to break free from limitations and live with purpose

•Current projects include our flagship book anthology, Still Standing: Educators’ Stories of Courage, Hope, & Resilience.

• The Rise to Freedom Podcast – a faith-based audio space for healing, empowerment, and encouragement

Cecilia is also a featured author in Stand Up! Volume 2 and Faith Moves 2024, and continues to create empowering resources that center around resilience, storytelling, advocacy, faith, and mental wellness.

As an Educational Consultant, Cecilia designs and facilitates professional development trainings, leadership workshops, and mentorship opportunities that equip schools, educators, and teams to thrive both personally and professionally. Her work emphasizes the importance of educator well-being, emotional health, and purpose-driven leadership.
